iJuniX satellite construction kit is a functional prototype of a Cubesat 1U satellite, which was created to teach pupils in grades 5-6 the basics of satellite engineering.

What is included in the JuniX satellite construction kit?​

The standard package includes a Junix construction kit, a special case for transportation, assembly instructions, tools and fasteners, and access to the EduControl program for block programming and control of the assembled designer.

What is the EduControl program for?​

The EduControl software is a special block-programming program that allows you to learn the basics of algorithmics and programming, as well as interact with the Junix construction kit to perform practical tasks. The program was fully developed in our company and successfully replaces well-known Western analogues.

How many people can use one construction kit?​

We recommend use 1 construction kit for 3-5 people.

Where the construction kit is developed and produced?​

The JuniX satellite construction kit is a development of the Russian private space company SPUTNIX and is manufactured on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Is it possible to create research projects using the JuniX satellite construction kit to participate in various competitions for pupils?​

Yes, it is. When studying the theoretical foundations of satellite engineering and assembling your own satellite prototype, you have the opportunity to think about the topic of your own research project, and then demonstrate the prototype at a competition.

Can I work with the Junix satellite construction kit if I do not have deep knowledge in the field of space?​

Yes, you can. Methodological materials have been developed specifically for the JuniX satellite construction kit, thanks to which, without having deep knowledge in the field of space, you will be able to work with the design kit. The teaching materials include lesson texts and presentations. To get acquainted with an example of methodological materials, follow the link. A set of methodological materials is purchased additionally. If necessary, we can also provide training for teachers of your institution.

Junix is the first space educational kit, designed for students in grades 5-6. On the one hand, the design of the satellite prototype itself is very simple, since it is built on a block principle, on the other hand, electronics inside the prototype are similar to those installed inside real spacecraft of the Russian private space company SPUTNIX.
