Ideology
The creation of rocket and space technology is a complex process that requires the intellectual work of many specialists: scientists, designers, radio engineers, technologists, programmers, electronics engineers and representatives of many other specialties. The space industry is at the peak of new technologies, and this dictates special requirements for the level of training of future specialists in this industry.
In countries with developed economies, the so-called project approach to learning is also used for training purposes, when a university and even a school create their own small satellites with a mass of 1 by students, under the supervision of practicing specialists..3 kg for educational purposes. These are "cubesats" satellites from the word CubeSat - a globally recognized standard for very small educational satellites. Such satellites can be launched into space with the support of the state together with other "professional" satellites in the traditional way on rockets or by astronauts from the International Space Station. We also believe that it is necessary to train future engineers from school, actively involving them in practical work with hardware that gives an idea of the work of real satellites. To do this, we offer the OrbiCraft 3D construction tool – a real designer for assembling functional models of spacecraft. This is a set of components that in a visual form will give the guys a systematic understanding of the processes of designing, assembling, testing and operating spacecraft, and ultimately will allow them to develop, test, launch and operate in "space" (on a special laboratory stand), although very simple, but their own "spacecraft".
The actual result of such training should be knowledge and skills that will allow children to take meaningful part in projects for the development and launch of real small spacecraft into space in the future. Also, the acquired skills of working with electronics and programming will allow students to prove themselves in the future in related technical industries, such as robotics, unmanned vehicles, etc.
